I am a diabetic so having recipes online means if I am away from home i can access recipes for me without carting anything with me and also because I am often asked for recipes, I can easily pass them on. Just easier all round.

People also often ask what I am able to eat so this gives them a good indication of what is "safe" eating for me. I have managed to control my diabetes for many years now through diet only so i do not often stray as i do not have the benefit of medication and I am trying my hardest to keep it that way.

It also means i keep track of which ones work well for me and which ones send my BGL readings through the roof.

There are a few which are not diabetic friendly but were recipes requested by friends which I have added.

All of these are public so people can see them without friending me, having this journal friended means you will get spammed with a stack of recipes if I am having a day of updates :)
